Quick Question

I know this has been asked before, I just fired up a old Med Battle set scenario and all the russians ships run aground, I know this has been around for ever this bug, Just wondered if there is any chance of it being fixed.

There aren't 'land ships' any longer, but the AI still isn't smart enough to maneuver around obstacles. A great deal depends, therefore, on the scenario author's placement of groups and when opposing forces have contact.

yeah fully realize about good scenario design, I love playing Med sets but there just way too many obstacles, thanks for your reply, so don't hold my breath on that being tightened up then [:D]

Heh ... I published a scenario a while back set in one of the North Atlantic battlesets. One of the AARs I got indicated that a couple of the Red SSNs had somehow wound up in the Great Lakes, which is rather interesting considering that the nearest such units would have started hundreds of miles east of the Virginia coast ... [X(]

Its possible that the player had checked off 'Ignore Ships Running Aground' under Staff Settings. I do not see any ships or submarines traveling overland anymore, as long as this option isn't checked off.
