The game was pulished at December 2008 in Germany by an unknown Publisher (Petergames).
The German Version may be diffrent to yours, because in our game there was a multiplayer modus included
which doesn`t work.

But there are still a lot of bugs in this game.
- installation problems
- crash at game start ( especially windows vista 64)
- back to windows
- no sound effects after loading a saved game
- tank drives into water and die
- supply is not balanced ( a lot of ammunition but no food)
- editor not stable

Allerdings dürfte die besinnliche Strategie-Stimmung reichlich schnell sinken, wenn Ihre Version von Officers ähnlich instabil läuft wie unsere,­ die auf dem Testrechner dreimal abstürzte und einige Grafik- und Logik-Bugs produzierte. Beispiel: Das Programm nahm uns nach einer Bug-Meldung alle Spezialaktionen weg.
Außerdem gehört die künstliche Intelligenz nicht zu den besten des Genres. Wenn Sie Ihren Panzern nicht explizit vorgeben, die Straßen zu benutzen, fahren die Kettenungetüme gern mal ins Wasser und zerstören sich dadurch selbst

Hallo Zusammen.
Leider müssen wir euch sagen das die Entwickler im Moment noch immer nicht die Notwendigkeit für einen patch sehen der u.a. eure Verbesserungsvorschläge enthält da Sie bereits wieder an neuen Projekten arbeiten.

I just want to point out that there won`t be any support by GFI.
But maybe Matrix Game has a better connection to the developers.

The beta version by matrix games are running just fine, please be patient. This is going to be a good and stable version. I think you will be happy with this version. Matrix games are very keen on getting it right, i can assure you of that.

Do we as the german user who have bought the game in Dec. will get a patch from matrix or anyone else that our game is synchron to the new matrix version????

Also another important bug we have in the german version is that the download version is not compatible to the version wich is availeble in stores!!!!

But we never saw a patch for that, we resolved the problem by using an unoffical no-cd-crack exe.

Also missing a chat lobby for multiplayers so nobody could find a game as long as he knows somebody who also has the game.

We also made it only possible to play it multiplayer over hamatchi network, direct ip didn´t worked out by several errors.

Also the whole title of the game is a bad joke because it says "Officers WW2 1939-1945"....but you can only play in Singleplayer as USA from Ohmaha Beach to the Rhine River four mission and thats it.

There is no scenario from 39-43, also Russian untis are only possible to play in Multiplayer and only on one 1v1 Map the other one wich is 2v2 crashed several times after some min. maybe it depends on an early 1941 scenario, because all other scenarios in multiplayer are also 1944-45.

So i hope that Matrix Games had fixed all these problems.

And i can not get the map editor to work at all, it says missing files. i have checked and re checked the manual and reinstalled, no luck...

When matrix does this kind of deal - the matrix patch will only work with the matrix version if you bought it from somebody else
you are probably out of luck.
