I'm having a game hang problem in reinforcement. Could be a problem at my end, of course, but since it just started in 1.06, and it's always in the same circumstances (though only sporadically), it may be something traceable in the game.

It happens occasionally when, during reinforcement, I click the available units button. Then everything freezes. Not sure what the pattern is apart from that, but it's happened a few times now.

I've had freeze in movement, also new to 1.06, but didn't pop up in last few sessions so I'm leaning towards my end.

Can you guys tell me how to dupe this, save game, etc?

The problem, as I've seen it, can't be recreated by a savefile, as it only happens occasionally, and when it does, if I escape the game (alt-ctrl-delete), I can reopen the same reinforcement phase and play it without a problem. It's just that it sometimes has trouble opening that "available counters" screen, and freezes. (Mouse and keyboard still work, but the game won't respond.)

Perhaps (?) related: I've noticed in 1.06 that there's an extra, unidentified French counter all the way on the right. You can click on it to purchase it, but it doesn't actually become available. (And it shouldn't! Whatever it is, it's not part of the normal OOB.)

Does this seem to happen with the French player only?
 

I haven't used 1.06 enough yet to know. I'm starting a GB campaign now, so I'll let you know.

i have only seen this happening at times with french reinforcement

If you see this then post the game and I'll check it out.

I've played several years of a GB campaign now, and haven't seen this. Also no phantom corps in the GB available counters.
