Can't Install

I had a test version of 1.10.12. I was having problems installing the new 1.10.12 version so I completely uninstalled FOF. I tried to reinstall it several times (i still have my disk) but I get a "data error (cycle redundancy check)". What can a computer illiterate do?

I've got it reinstalled (disk was dirty). However, when I pull the game up I get 1.2.3 in the top left corner. Is that correct? Because when I try to load a PBEM game, I get "incompatible save game file or version".

1.2.3 would be correct if you haven't patched up all the way. According to the most recent ReadMe file, that was a patch that came out soon after release. You need 1.12.2.
