Playing as the Allies......have 8 artillery strikes available but am unable to assign them anywhere. Mortar strikes and air strikes no problem, but artillery refuse to assign.

Any ideas?

For the allies artillery support consists of off shore ships, thus it can only be assigned to units close to the shore.

You should see maps eligible have a yellow outline.

In the strat layer, drop the support on the map, not on the unit.
