EDIT:

France fell with relative low cassualties on the germans 1 inf damaged. Italy joined Germany and Central Med was secured. Elements of the Afrika Korps were shipped to Tobruk.
Meanwhile the uboats keep creating havoc in the brittish TF around Africa: one damaged one sunk.

Japan pound the Chinese railway system.

Allies Winter 40 -

It's no fun scrambling after an early Fall of France ... Italy joins the war and the British are unprepared ... scratch forces defend the Middle East and troops are not in place to conquer East Africa ... three wolfpacks create three gaps in the convoy routes around Africa.

Only good news is ASW teams take down two of the U-boat groups.

Things seems to be going well, The Fürher's intuition has never so far been wrong.
Yugoslavia has been crushed and Rumania, Hungary and Bulgaria will join the Axis in the Summer.
Franco decided to join the Axis and Spanish forces recover what always has been Spanish soil, no more Britons in Gibraltar, the West Med is closed for the RN.
Meanwhile in North Africa, our Stuka and Dornier groups bomb the the brittish fighters stationed in Syria and knock them out, a landing force takes control. Egypt is also taken, now the english will have to split their forces or abandon some territory, unless Italian East Africa is not invaded and forces there redeploy defensively. To prevent so our best uboat unit after resupplying with our italian comrades attack the TF in the Indian Ocean 1, and are left there to op fire.
In England another TF was damaged after a bombing raid to Liverpool harbour.

Ouch! The Spanish join the war on a 1-in-100 coup event ... while the British are still reeling from the early Fall of France/Italian entry. Desperate measures are called for.

The Brits must give up the Suez & Transjordan, retreating to Iraq to try and hold out a little longer. The Italian East Africa garrison is overrun and destroyer squadrons rush to hem in the lone German wolfpack, which is lurking off the East African coast.

In the Western Med the veteran UK battleship group runs the gauntlet of coastal batteries & Dorniers at Gibraltar, evades Italian subs in the Tyrrhenian sea, chases off an Italian cruiser squadron in the Central Med, and proudly sails into Valetta harbor with 16 bombardment points.

The Germans leave Kiel without fighter or flak cover, allowing a quick CV raid to take out a German trannie.

In the Far East, China's air defenses are heavily reinforced with 3 newly arrived flak units ... only a couple of undefended targets left for the Japanese bombers.

The Greek Goverment had declared war on Germany, luckily German troops were in position after haveing knocked Yugoslavia in Spring, taking Greece was a piece of cake, no cassualties.

Cairo and Trans-Jordan were capture, the Brittish were wise enough to evacuate their factories to Irak. Troops have assembled for the final thrust into Irak next turn. Controlling the Suez Canal allowed an italian LF to sink a TF, meanwhile the veteran uboat damages another TF and heads for Alexandria for well earned leave. The Central Med was reinforced to block that lonely HF in Malta, luckily no sign of the RAF in Malta.

The LW HB attacked once again Brittish harbours, and even when they had some losses a CV just out the docks got serious damaged, so back to the dry docks again.

The Afrika Korps continue their advance, thank to the italian production of landing crafts they have landed in Sudan with bearable losses, inmediatly the beach head was reinforced and consolidated. The Italian fleet sailed to cover the TF.
Irak was also liberated from the long English oppresion...
The veteran uboat became elite while damaging another Brittish Transport.

LW suffers its first setback bombing English harbours, a Stuka squadron was damaged and had to return for repairs.

Uboats are sent into the Atlantic gaining new succeses, one of them was Italian.

Tojo has decided to continue the attrition battles against the Chinese. There should not be a problem in a long time.
First the army was sent, then the CAGs busted two more militias and afterwards the HB hit a resource, an investigation has been opened, chances were 1.65 to hit both resources after flak was hit inoperative, and only one was damaged, pilots must have been drinking too much sake.

The remnants of the Chinese field armies retreat inland ...

ASW operations in the North Atlantic are a total bust ... no results.

Brits assemble maximum defense of Italian East Africa.

Only bright spot for the Allies comes from the Warspite & Malaya holed up in Malta ... they sortie against the Italian blockade with gratifying results ...

OKW decides to retreat from Sudan rather than delay Barbarrosa, don't really know if this was a good decission, full of doubts about it.
Only 3 operational uboats, one had to head home for reloading torpedoes, the other two scored hits.

Japan, bombs more resources and conducts training exercises all along the Pacific.

More preparations for Barbarossa, a turn had to be spent to redeploy forces and fill arms and supply depots.
A couple of silly mistakes on my side, the worst is I forgot to move an italian LF and TF in the Red Sea and they have no chance at all.

Japan keeps doing naval exercises all along the Pacific.

Got the LS but the trannie got away. No other combat; just waiting for the hammer to fall. Looks like Barbarossa and Pearl Harbor could come at the same time!
