CCE.exe repeatedly stops working and eventual CTD after Vista makes its usual unsucessful 'search for an answer' when saving out of the Editor after changing weather to random or clear.

just made 3 with those settings and all were OK

Try a re-install
best I can offer at the moment as we seem to be able to create battles and no other reports of this or similar.

I can not repro this either. Have you modified any of the data files? Campaign.txt or stratmap.txt? What file name are you using when you try and save?

Stock campaign.txt at the moment altho I have game/saves where BG retreat was turned on in that file.
Modded alteams (0 experience/morale), bgroups (cmdr ratings), fpools (a few type/quant edits) & .BTDs w/ lots of changes.
No probs w/ TLD on another pc. Once again KZ's old adage that 'bad mods can blow up your box' is proven correct.

Running the patch, if you open & close scenario settings in the editor, the date slider moves to accomodate a 25 day (?) op.
