The setting determines what happens to disbanded BG's....

O = when a BG disbands you will never see it again
1 = When a BG disbands it will try and reform on a friendly supply depot and re-enter the battle - next day

Are you sure from it at 100%? have you tested it?;) I have tested it and it makes some different. Not bad but it is different. When it is "0", BG does not dissapear, they enter again on battle the next turn but not on the nearest supply depot, they enter on the nearest map from their side. It is something strange but very interesting.

Sorry I wrote bad my previous answer, I wanted tell you it.
When it is "0", BG does not dissapear, they enter again on battle the next turn but not on the nearest supply depot, they enter on the nearest map from their side. It is something strange but very interesting.

So, you say they come back, even with 0 ??
Ok will check..... but it doesn't effect our campaign.

Yes they come back with a "0" but they do not return on the supply depot, they return on the nearest map from their side and they return with low supply. I will put later one shot from it, I use "0" on my ABTF mod because I did not want a destroyed UK BG returning to the battle on Son Town map by example.

If you try and move them on the next strat turn you get the message....
That they are too disoriented to relocate.
Or something like that.
I just assumed it was something new to the game.

I did not know about it but now I know that the option on campaign.txt file from "disband and not return", this does not run.

That is something different. BG's in WAR can be pushed off maps in WAR and retreat to a friendly unoccupied map if they owned the exit VL before the force morale break took it away. Part of the penalty for retreating is becoming disorganized and not being able to move the next turn....

But Platoon_Michael is right because it was the first thing that I discovered when I was testing my new strategic map. The second was discover how it does not run "O = when a BG disbands you will never see it again".

Can I get more of a explanation for this one please?

Are AB BG's arriving on maps different than what was assigned in the Scenario Editor?
If they are NOT assigned in the Scenario Editor are they still going to be used during a GC?
Is
0=No
1=Yes?
If changed to 1 (assuming that's yes) where and when do these BG's arrive if it's different then what I assigned on the Scenario Editor?
Is off map exit a Map the maps on the outer edge of the strat map I.E. Arlon?

You still assign a BG, including airborne, to a map in the scenario editor.
If you assign a BG to a map that does not have an entry VL from outside the strat map and you put a 1 in the appropriate spot for the day and side that BG will be treated as airborne thus getting random entry VL's (1 to 3 around the map).
Did a follow up test occur to see if never return is or isn't working under the latest patch???
