occurred while playing vs AI as Axis in Bretteville single battle. The Panther to the right has been abandoned by it's crew which then surrenders. The crew i.e. the now-prisoners can't be seen on the map. I use the new beta patch and no further changes were made to the game. The bug is reproducible (2 screens attached). Obviously this is no biggie...[;)]

I'm not sure this completely explains what you're seeing but I do know that when you have men surrender in the game they wander around the map.  If you have dead guys and a surrendered dude the name of the team the exe splits the difference between where the dead guys are and where the surrendered dude is to display the name of the team.  So it's possibly the surrendered guy was across the map while you're dead guys are in your screenshot.  Also when you have a guy surrender you are only able to see him when you have LOS to him because you no longer have command of him.  So surrendered guys occasionally go invisible when they're not in LOS of any of your teams still under your command.
 
Does any of this potentially explain what you were seeing?  If not please give specifics so we might recreate it on our end to debug.

It should be noted that neither the exited surrendered team or the vehicle is controllable by you , your opponent or the AI.

This behaviour is known.. I'm not sure it's a bug though.

Hm, I had LOS as the infantry was deployed in the multistory buildings to the left. The strange thing is that the "vehicle crew" display was flickering and moving. Would it be visible and moving if I had no LOS? I suspect it wouldn't.

EDIT: I was wrong!!! I just checked while playing vs my Laptop [:)] The prisoners were out of LOS and visible by the Allied side. This thread can be deleted...Sorry guys!
