I patched my game to 1.20 and i thought there were supposed to be more options when creating a randome game. I get no options for weather or nukes or the hardcor supples. It shows its version 1.20 but no new options? Also. i tried several times updating to 1.21 but game always give sme weird exceptions and doenst load. will wait for offical patch i guess for that. Hope someone can advice me on the new options. thanks

1.21 fixes supply across sea NOT receiving anti-supply penalty as I recall.
You decide how bad not having that is, but personally, I see no reason not to patch to 1.21.

I believe I patched up to 1.22, but the version number on the main screen still says v. 1.20. Is that normal? or if I did it right should I be seeing v1.22?

I am seeing a v1.22...
So you might like to repeat the install or ask Vic under the "Advanced Tactics Support" thread...

Are you unzipping 1.21 into the bin directory

You may be doing what I did, trying to install the patch, when it is just copied to the bin directory

Vic said this

You have to unzip the files in your bin directory in the advanced tactics directory. so they overwrite the existing files.

its a hotfix and not an auto-installing patch.

kind reg,
Vic

Hope this helps

Thanks Lazy Boy.

I had only put the executable file into the main directory, not the bin directory, at first I had assumed nothing was wrong as it still worked correctly, but after Lunaticus pointed out that I should be seeing V1.22 I looked around and realized that the actual executable being used was in bin directory, so all is good now.

... now if only I didn't have this 5 week Anatomy & Physiology II summer course that sucks up all my time. and if my family didn't have expectations that I would spend time with them...
