I just spent an afternoon visiting the FHC up in Everett WA. This is not a museum....but a personal collection of (mostly) flyable WWII and WWI planes owned by Paul Allen. These planes have been beautifully restored and maintained and it was a joy to see these planes.....some of them extremely rare. I took a gaggle of photos and thought the forum might like to see them.

Indeed. I would also like to discourage you from posting any sort of picture of any sort of military aircraft. That's just not what this forum is about.

k. took a while to reduce the photos down to a size the forum can handle. Hopefully the quality hasn't suffered too much.

Very nice! Quality is fine.
The Russian 'Washing Machine Charlie'? Not quite the U-2 that first comes to mind.
And what looks like a Mosca and an Emil yet to come?

Yes...only more numerous and organized. U-2's were mainly used at night on ground harrassment raids. A good number of women pilots flew them...hence "The Night Witches" story

Very often used for nuisance night raids over the Eastern Front.
Okay, LogBoy, bring on the next one...
