... I have decided to move into the modern era with a new GBG association. I'm gonna go with 55-man rosters and take over the 2005 Pirates. This gives me three years in which to try to make the Bucs competitive.

Edit: nah, I think I'll go back and restart in 1939, with the Dodgers. As Brian Wilson once sang, "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times". [;)]
