Hi all.I'm very sorry to post this, but I encountered the first serious problem after installing the new pathes of LV(the sound and the normal one). After the first 2 battles, when Vebber is ordered to relieve the Brandeburgers....i click continue in the briefing screen, just to get to the option screen...and at the bottom of the screen it appears this:"Unable to load OOb(here some numbers)data"...this stops the game and doesn' allow me to go on.It's the first time i got this feature....before the patch i've been able to get trough the first 15 scenarios with no problems at all.......
any help?
Another thing.....after the battle of the castle is won....I get a screen sayin' I'm listening to a Pilot Song....but can't hear no song at all......
Thanks in advance:)

Which battle are you entering and what was your rating in the previous battle. I'm looking through the current LV repair issues and have found some that have an OOB error, I just want to make sure yours is identified. These will be fixed I want to make it doesn't slip through the cracks. If it's an Early Decision it's is in work.

Node in question don't have any features that makes MC behave as you say. Some of the campers did get thru it already, but I'll check it one more time

I instead was able to hear that song, but didn't hear the song in the briefing screen for RtR (something like Deutsche Kireger or so). Since I head sound problems also before installing the patch, after the Castle battle I thought it'd be ok; but seems there's still something weird. Not that I care so much for the songs, but I won't miss some important intelligence info.

One more thing to mention:
This "OOB data not found" thingy actually has nothing to do with any OOB files! Usually it is caused either by a missing or corrupted *.cam in the "Save" folder.
Missing *.cam files is usually be caused by not letting the MC engine do his "Autosave" job, meaning...exit out of the game without confirming "autosave" or any crash to desktop.
Same goes for corrupted *.cam file although it also was formerly be caused by the core.dat issue that is fixed for patch #1 one.
Something else you shouldn´t do: Tinker with the *.cam file content if you don´t know what you do!
Me for example did a little typo while backupping and renaming a *.dat file and its appropriate *cam file. The typo was in the name of the *.cam file and the result while trying to load the save game was this odd "OOB data not found" error.
I also don´t like the autosave feature much, but sad as it is: ALWAYS backup your savegames and take care with renaming ect.
GenHoeppner: Seems you have progressed normally to your third battle with the Brandenburgers ect.!? Can you send me your latest save game? I might help.

The sound files play once you click on read reports and select options. There are no files playing at the end of the battles, only the beginning and they stop once you select continue on the computer/human toggle screen

Thanks guys you saved me from digging out the spreadsheets. Harry thanks for the clarification on the *.cam file I didn't know that was the cause of such a message, but it does make sense now.

Gen. Hoepner, Brent, et al. I fixed the sound problem. My original copy of SPWaW v7.0 came with the MCWT CD. I patched that with v7.1. Later, I bought MCLV and tried to install LV only. The Auto run program did not work properly (crashed) so I had to install LV manually from the CD. Then I applied v1.1 patch and SND patch. Result, no broadcasts during briefing, else ok. However, the SPWaW Menu program looked like a double exposure! The WT version and the LV version overlapping!! Hmmm... I trashed (uninstalled) everything, and re-installed SPWaW v7.0 & MCLV from that CD. Re-applied patches and Presto! Everything in working order broadcasts and all. I have not attempted to re-install WT yet so I don't know if that will mess up the works again, but in the meantime LV is up and running. Hope this helps...

Thanks RedMike....I solve the biggest problem(oob error-thanks to rockinherry),but the missing broadcasting prob is still present......the fact is that i only have LV and NA..not WT...so.....what do u think i gotta do to solve this? When i first tried to reinstall SPWAW(LV and NA included) ...strangely,uninstalling everything many many SPWAW files remained on my pc...and when i reinstalled only LV the Desert fox MC was already there, apparently never moved away.....do u think i can delete everything instead of uninstalling? It seems the uninstallation program doesnt work properly.......
any help?
thanks in advance

Gen.Hoepner, I'm running Windows XP and what I did was use the uninstall program AND then dump whatever was left over i.e. Recycle Bin. EXCEPT the stuff I downloaded such as SPWaW v7.1,
LV v1.1, LV Sound patch, etc. This stuff I keep in a seperate folder for emergencies. Then I just start all over. Try installing SPWaW v7.0 from your LV CD, then load your patch stuff, then see if you have Broadcasts in LV. THEN try loading NA and see what happens... I haven't attempted loading WT yet, but when I do I'll let you know if alls well or not. In the meantime... LV!!!
