Hi, I was hoping the patch would fix the problem of not being able to fire in ship to ship combat when zoomed out to around mid zoom level.
The crossed swords appear over the target but nothing happens when you try and fire.
If you zoom in a level or two there is no problem. Does anyone else get this problem?
No improvement after patch. [:(]

Oh, I don't remember this having been reported before.  I apologize if I missed a previous report; sometimes things do fall through the cracks.

I have had the same problem since installing the game. Did not report it as it was a minor irritation which meant I had to zoom in to fire.

I did report it on the mouse lag thread as I thought there might be a connection. To me it is a major irritation and I have actually held off from playing the game in the hope that it would be fixed.

P.S. the same seems to be true for land battles.

I thought I would pop back to see if this had been fixed but I see no mention of it. I'm surprised more players don't find this to be a problem.
I guess it's time to either play the game with this irritation or not.
