I know AE is around the corner, but if anyone wants to kill some time, I'm in a need for a game. When AE comes out, we'll discuss our options, whether we should continue or quit.

I'm willing to give it a try. Having never played a pbem and being a newb, I like to start with 3-4 turns a week, then faster as I get the hang of things. It would also be nice not to be brutilized to much.

andrew browns war in the pacific site should have the extended map file, just underneath this is the 6.3 update download.
rules seem ok.

Ok, got it, but I have few questions. In readme it says:
"This map data file is for version 6.3 of the standard variant of Andrew Brown's War in the Pacific map."
Since we are playing on extended map, does this update affect it? Also, can saved games from previous versions still be played on new one? The reason I ask is because I already have first turn ready.
