Just got done playing a game. Tom Seaver through 172 pitches. That seems a little high even for 1969. Anybody else have this? Was that normal for 1969? Unfortunately, my inept team couldn't take advantage and we still lost in 16 innings.

Just heard on this day in history that Nolan Ryan threw over 230 pitches in a game in 1974....
