It looks like you all play PBEM, but no one interested by an IP game ?

The doc talk about limits/issues with Windows, does it really affect the game ?

I haven't tried either IP or PBEM. I would imagine getting everyone together for an IP game would be very difficult.

If you want to give PBEM a try, Danish Anyone? is looking for a Prussia, Turkey and either England or Austria.
