I know I have read this before but I can't find it.
How do you take in-game pictures (like for the AARs)?

HiHi
Suggestion for Matrix/WCS team, maybe give a full breakdown of how to put images in a post as a stand alone thread in the 1st secton of the MBs so the instructions stay put for folk to check out when needed.
Just a thought.
All the Best

Get a program like KingKong that takes a screenshot and saves it automatically into a file format of your choosing. Everytime I hit <ctrl> - K I get another saved picture, numbered in a way of my choosing. It is MUCH better than printscreen that only allows one pic at a time before you have to manually pop it into a another program to save it. With capture programs, you never leave COGEE. It does all the work in the background.
I think the latest versions of KingKong are now shareware, requiring a small fee after some time period, or number of shots, or something. But the older versions, that work just fine, are freeware. I use v 1.2.0.20 that was freeware. It's still out there on the web, if you look for it. It was recommended to me by a WCS staff member that used it extensively.
I don't mean to suggest that this is the perfect program; there are others that do similar things for little or no cost. It's just that this was the first I found that did everything I needed, including cropping of images (how do you think I put all those screenshots in the "guides?").
So, take a look around to see what's out there. Start with "screen capture freeware" software on Google.

One of the good things about Vista is that it includes the "snipping tool". It is more like a commercial screen capture utility than the print screen system-saves time in cropping and so on.
