Upgrades for SPWaW version 3?

Greetings,
the only copy I have of the game is the version that came in the Oct 2000 of PC Gamer, which is version 3.0.
I see there at lots of upgrades are available, which one do I use to get my game even half way close to current?
I have a really, really slow dial up connection, and doing a 400mb+ would take in excess of 27 hours! Assuming it doesnt hang up on me, during the night, which it does several times an hour.
Any advice?
Thanks

You best bet is to buy a Mega Campaign, Watchtower being my particular favorite, which comes with version 7. If that's not possible, arrange for someone to burn and send you a CD with the last full install and upgrades, or for someone you know to download for you.

Yeah... best bet is to buy a mega campaign from Matrix... not only do you get a wonderful product, but you also support the brilliant programmers who do all this work.
Short of that, there are also porgrams that are capable of resuming downloads after your connection's been broken. The one that I like to use is
Download Accelerator Plus (shareware, avaliable at
http://www.speedbit.com)....
It can , as aforementioned, resume broken connections, but it can also speed up downloads (though it still took me a few days to download the ole SPWAW 5.0).
Another way... get a friend who has cable/ADSL and a CD burner to get copy for you and burn a CD (I believe that you're allowed to burn a copy of SPWAW for personal use... correct me if I'm wrong).
Anyway, I hope that you can get SPWAW... it's a great game.
Antarctic
PS... I believe that Matrix is preparing a final, 7.1 release, as a whole download, which may be easier than downloading 5.01, then upgrading to 5.1, to 5.3, to 6.0, to 6.3, to 7.1.... but, again, don't quote me on it.

The new 7.1 full version has now been posted in the d/l section, but REMF and Antarctic are both right. Buying a Mega Campaign would get you 7.0 (only have to apply the 7.1 patch then) and the purchase would help support the company that gave us such a great free game to start with.
