Hi gentlemens.

I am wondering: in case an Army HQ surrender (Singapore, Manilla, or else), BUT a
small piece of the HQ was withdrawn, does the leader survive, or does he dissepear?
Has anybody an idea about this ?
Stock, 1.806 (and without any bug, thanks to Rtrapasso and Yamato Hugger advice [;)] ).

Usually not, although with various clones floating around, anything is possible!

Uh ho, so i shall change the leader in charge before the surrendering. Thanks Bob, it's a usefull information for me.

Yeah - unless it's MacArthur... he has one clone in the Philippines, and one in Australia at the beginning of the game... a couple of other pilots and "minor" commanders also start with clones... the game can produce clones through various bugs as well, but this is a lot less noticeable in 1.806 than in prior versions.

Well, if ever Jan, my dreaded opponant , read this, this would not make a lot of difference:
i was thinking of brit leaders: there are not so many, and many are just dumb ! but Percival was fired on dec 9th, for a surely better general (can't remenber this poor guy name right at the moment). I would like to keep this guy in my pool. So i might guess the day of surrender, and put percival in charge the last day....
Difficult task, but it can be done.
