Supply in the Overlord scenario

Just started the 2nd Allied turn (human Allied v AI German) in the Overlord scenario and the supply rules don't seem to be working properly.

i.e. German 709 Inf in hex 17,11 and German 352 Inf in 16,11 all the surrounding land hexes contain Allied units which moved into position in turn 1 thus I was pretty certain that both these units would be out of supply. However the 352 is drawing 27 supply from Caen (which the Germans re-took in their turn 1) and the 709 is drawing 27 supply from Cherbourg which has the VII US Corp sitting on it.

Is this a glitch or have I read the rules wrong ?

In ToW you should start seeing reduced strength when a unit is out of supply. Do you see that? Or are those units still normal strength?

Sounds like a bug to me, if you're not seeing reduced strength/effectiveness.

Let it run for a couple more turns with the units sitting in place.

Also had the British 6th Airbourne in hex 23,11 just SE of a german held Le Havre and surrounded by German controlled hexes.

Turn 1 GE 709 (in position as my origional post) - 27 supply from Cherbourg , BR 6th - 26 supply from Southampton

Turn 2 GE 709 27 supply from Cherbourg , BR 6th 26 supply from Southampton

Turn 3 GE 709 Out of Supply for 1 turn , BR 6th Out of Supply for 1 turn

Turn 4 GE 709 Out of Supply for 2 turns , BR 6th Out of Supply for 2 turns

Thus it seems that supply rules not in effect for the Turn 1 of the scenario then supply status is assesed at the end of each game turn with the effects of out of supply effecting the unit for its next turn - is this what is supposed to be happening ?

Also the sequence of play is a bit different at the begining of the scenario - Turn 1 Allied then German, Turn 2+ German then Allied so the Germans get to move twice in succession over the turn 1/2 break.
