Game shutting off

I am having problems with the screen going black and then the game shutting off.
I was almost at the end of a german campaign and only had a couple more territories to take [:@]. I applied the latest patch. Then I started a new game and early on it is happening again.
I am running the game on windows XP.

Hi guys,
I posted this a while ago and I still haven't got a reply. Any reply.
Some suggestions
1) We've seen this problem before and we are working on it.
2) Could you give us more details, here's how to...
3) We have the solution and it will be in the next patch
Not saying anything is crappy customer service.
Here is some more information.
Windows comes up with a CCE?.exe has encountered a problem. I usually debug and the game menu is left up but the game play screen has closed. I don't know how to cut and paste the error screen info. You will need to tell me how if you need it. Is there any other way I can help you fix this problem?

What type of graphics display do you have?
What OS are you running?
Does this happen all the time or intermitantly?

Using windows XP Home edition 2002 service pack 3
Nvidia Geforce 7950 GT
It has done it intermitantly throughout the game but now it does it constantly. I can't finish the game as the U.S. with two territories in german hands. Every time I play it cuts out when the german morale drops down. When this happens it also deletes the game file from the list of saved games (or at least it no longer appears on the list).

All issues posted similar to yours relate to video drivers or settings or other programs intertfering with the game (anti-virus etc.)
Check antialiasing and anastrophic filtering.

Okay, I have been on holiday.
Can you tell me what the antialiasing and anastrophic filtering should be set to for the program to work?

Nope, that's not it.
One was set to be controlled by the program the other was off. Tried it again and it shut off.
