A Few Questions

I know nobody comes here but I thought I would post some of my questiosn after playing for a few days.

1. What do CEV's do? Do they have an actual game use or are they included for purposes of displaying the accurate TOW?

2. Is there ways to make the AI play smarter in user created scenarios? I have had several experiences where the game ends to discover masses of AI controled units far away from the battle

3. Any additional maps out there? Is it possible to edit one yourself?

Let me hit these in reverese.
 
3 - No and not really. The maps in the game were all hand drawn and then done up with an internal coding to make them work. I tried a couple of years back to make a new map, but gave up. The good news from all of this in that the new game system being worked has a map editor in it and will allow folks to map their own maps and even tile artwork.
 
2. The AI plays looking at the values of each of the 12 sectors for who owns it and how much fire power there is in a sector. If you want units to move to an area, place a high value on the sector or one just past it to draw the AI in.
 
1. TOE. There was some thought on expanding that role, but it never happened.
