Speeding Up The Game ?

hey guys;
So I setup PureSim yesterday with maxed out teams.. The wife and I had a bunch of running around to do so we went out... 10 hours later when we got back we only had 1.5 seasons done... yup not 2 seasons but 1 in a half...
Is there anyway to speed things up ? Cause that's ridiculous.
