Did anyone of the AE Team members a test under Mac OS X with Paralles or other virtual PC machine software ?

It works under virtual machinery, just like stock does.

I tested early versions using Parallels on an iMac.

I experienced some degradation in sound quality... but the game itself functioned.


I found that BootCamp was the better alternative for Mac users, as there was no degradation in sound.

With BootCamp new (Intel based) Mac is essentialy a PC and all programs should run fine on such machine (i.e. Microsoft Operating System via BootCamp and all windows software including games)... [;)]

Thanks guys ! I will run my installed WinXP via Paralles for serveral reasons.....Boot Camp runs, I already have it but on my Mac I will more like to run XP on a virtual machine for some good reasons [;)]

Another question : Did someone own a netbook with an Intel Atom CPU say N270 ?  Does AE run fine there or will there be some trouble ?

I am thinking to buy a 3rd Computer just for vacations, maybe an ASUS EE pc or lenovo Idea pad or a Samsung anyNet

any ideas ?

Running WitPAE on Mac 10.5 OX in Parallels. No problems. Very smooth.
