So if the Bismarck can defeat a Zero . . . and a Swordfish defeats the Bismarck . . . therefore, logically, it follows that a Swordfish will better a Zero.

A Rufe on the water still might have a chance against a Swordfish in the sky - but not a Zero in the water!

Time to nip this one in the bud. According to the History Channel, the Wildcat is the better airframe and dogfighter of the comparision.

OK, what's next???[;)]

But then, according to the History Channel, whatever they are currently covering is the best/most decisive/strongest/fastest/history changingest thing ever.

3. Ginger or Mary Ann?

The wildcat does have a better airframe, its more durable and can take alot punishment.A zero can go down in flames just by a sinlge burst of the 50 cal machine guns. This is what made the F6F Hellcat so perfect, the hellcat had the performance(if not, better perofrmance) of the zero but it also had the durability of the Wildcat at the same time.
