I recommend
www.stardownloader.com as long as you set it to one stream only. The store does not like multi-stream download managers, it can cause serious problems. But a single stream (they're all set to multi-stream by default but can be configured for single stream) works fine and lets you resume downloads if disconnected, etc.

Erik...
I appear to be missing the correct serial number...
Is it supposed to come with the receipt, which I printed, or did I fail to get something on one of the screens, because my old WitP serial number does not work.

Erik
Please define serious problems (as I am downloading now using my default settings in flashget and after the IT day I have had at work today I don't need any more issues - either for me or anyone else).
Cheers
Bob

Main issue is that if you lose your connection and have to re-download, the store may not let you if you were using a multi-stream manager as it may think you are actually some kind of "attack". That resolves by waiting 24 hours, but it's darned annoying.

Free download manager stopped at 43% and now telling me "wrong name or password" - I can't resume!
I've now downloaded Star Downloader, but can't find a way to set at single stream - as I wasn't at free download manager. How to do that?

Ok, the file was open for download again now, but when I set to 1 maximum connections, it "downloaded" with 0 bytes - and 3 minutes later, my account was closed again...
Is there any way to avoid waiting another 24 hours?

Im' using the Opera browser and it's built in download manager. And I can attest that restarting with this browser does work, since a tractor with a sweep hooked a power line downtown (long story) and knocked out power in the middle of my DL. Restarted the transfer and the .exe worked fine upon double clicking for install.

Hehe, Erik has apparently given up
Sorry Erik for molesting you again and again. Seems to be a kind of curse with me and AE...
Is this the necessary setting?
