Will WitE be available in other languages besides english? French or German or Russian???

There are no current plans for additional languages.

So only English ... [:(] ... I play with a guy in Switzerland who speaks/writes/reads French, we've play V4V, Combat Mission and others. He's a real gung ho wargamer but his English is not so good and it's a pain for him to play in English. Seems like your missing a market potential there. Russian too ...
Maybe a patch?

Localization is a major project, and for these super grognard games it's just too much effort for the small payback. There is not a lot of text in the game, so you don't need to know a lot of English. The most important part is the manual, which is something that is up to the publisher to localize, and I think Matrix looks at that the same way as we look at localizing the code (a lot of effort for not a lot of return). I wish this weren't the case.

Thanks again Joel! Main reason for my posting this is so my buddy can read it and see the reason It's a sizable expence to lay out for a game that you might have trouble interfacing with.
