37mm gun on aircobra

This might be a bug and bears watching. Playing Guadacanal as Japan and ran a lone large AK with one DD into Lae with supplies.
It was attacked two times by aircobras. One attack failed to hit. The second attack by two aircobras recorded one single hit from a 37mm cannon and no other bomb or gun hits. The combat report supports this. The ship recorded heavy fires and then sunk in a later phase. I watched the turn over again and double checked the combat report. Only one 37mm hit was recorded on that large AK that turn and it looks as if that shot was powerful enough to sink it.
Could have been a freak shot but I doubt that it is supposed to go like that. Anyways I will report if it happens again.
