Hey Matrix guys, make it stop!

Did not expect this. A few funny moments but basically AI is doing very well and fighting a good fight. I am finding that two IJN carriers plus one light are not enough to take on three American carriers. [:-]

I am a little concerned that a p39 "one shotted" my large AK at Lae with a hit from the 37mm cannon. Dat don't seem rite.....

I am impressed the the Pearl Harbor attack. I have ran it 5 times now with devesting results. In WITP, I expect to lose 2 BBs with medium damage to the rest and a few others. Nothing too bad. In AE, on average 5 BBs are sunk, at least one CA, and 10+ DDs are also sunk. All other BBs are heavily damaged. Pearl is left in shambles every time. Wow!

I am impressed as well, for in my reading I see that 29 of the attacking aircraft carried the modified torpedos, of which as many as 21 hit their targets.  Since the AI has managed 35+ torpedo hits each attack in my 3 Dec 7 runs, I am duly impressed 

That said, I am amazed at how much tougher the japanese forces seem to be.  I've had my rear end handed to me twice today by the AI in the Coral Sea scenario.  Enjoying myself immensely.

agreed. The AI is definitely better. Soon we will be saying the "Invincible Japanese AI"!!
