Bug? Incorrect info/options in air unit window

I've seen this at least twice now. Second time I have a save, which I can provide, but when I reload the save everything is fixed.
At least three symptoms, which seem to appear in concert:
1) An fighter unit on a CV TF in the middle of the ocean provides "set all fighters at this base" instead of "set all fighters in this TF"
2) Using the button does not change the other fighters in the TF
3) Planes which have a target set previously now think the target is way, way far away.
It's almost like the engine thinks the unit is on some other base elsewhere instead of on the carrier.
Screen shot for #1 attached. Screen shot for #3 in next message. #2 you'll have to trust me.

Here's symptom #3. You can see from the map view the TF is relatively close to pearl, not 118 hexes away!

1. The group location variable is getting changed between saying it is on Akagi and when it tests to see if it is at land base. Pity, your save doesn't persist with the error. I can see one case where the sequence of calling up the group screen might change the location variable during display. The other time would be the ship disbanded. Will investigate closer.
3. Do you have save of this one?

3. Do you have save of this one?
It would be the same save; as far as I can tell these symptoms are linked. So the bad news is I could give you the save but it probably won't repeat; the good news is if you figure out a cause for symptom 1 maybe it will fix symptom 3.
And, I, um, lost the save. No wait! "The computer" over-wrote it! Can't be my fault!
If it happens again I'll post a save on the off chance it helps but I did check my previous save and the problem cleared.
