Hello to everybody. I've install AE and everything runs smootly except:

a) When you are in Air Bombardment, and a "mushroom of fire" must appear when a plane drop the bomb, the PC freeze...it goes slow...slooooooow, sloooooooooooow.

b) When trying to do a naval bombardment, the screen apears with the water and the coast, but not the ship!! It takes like 10 seconds to appear on the screen and when it began to fire, I have same trouble as above: Explosions freeze my computer. It must be related to this archive because the other things go very well.

Any idea ?

1. Please update your video and audio drivers, they are currently from 2008 and 2007. Please also make sure that your video driver is set to its default settings and is not forcing WITP AE into any unusual settings or modes.

2. Try the Dual-Core affinity fix pinned in this forum.

3. Try using DxDiag to reduce your Video and Audio acceleration to see if that resolves the issue.

aye. I had the link with it, but I got a CTD on the replay using new video drivers. A clean link was used and all runs ok.

Tested WITHOUT patched for dual core works fine. A patched exe make the same trouble I post previously.

Obviously, i'll play without the patch.
