does the physical shipment come with a printed color manual?

This is a collector's edition, mean boxed copy has indeed a full color manual.

well that's a good deal because it costs more than $10 to get a b/w bound copy printed at office depot. and this way i won't drop the laptop in the bath tub when i am reading the manual.

Especially if you have the laptop plugged into a wall outlet[:D]

In all seriousness it is a good deal.

After downloading, I printed the manual out from Acrobat - zoom it up to 140-150% size and it prints very nicely on 8 1/2 x 11 duplex (two sided pages). And readable without a magnifying glass! Put it in an average-size 3-ring binder and you're good to go.

You can also laminate it for use in the bathtub, save the laptop...
