Allied Opponent Wanted

Konnichi-wa!
The noble and mighty Empire of Japan is seeking some clueless lamb to slaughter in a war against the evil Allied imperialists.
Or rather, I´d like to jump straight into the deep end of the game by playing Japan in a PBEM grand campaign. I am not a very experienced player, especially not as Japan, but I like a challenge. I have not played PBEM before and would prefer a relatively inexperienced opponent.
These are my suggestions:
Scenario 2 (negotiable, but it may take a lot to convince me of Scenario 1; playing Japan is hard enough as it is)
PDU on (house rules against exploiting this freely negotiable)
Other realism options (Realistic R&D, Allied DC advantage, US torpedoes...) freely negotiable; I would prefer full realism here
No Withdrawals off
Historical 1st Turn and Dec7th Surprise off
Other house rules freely negotiable
I would like to play using 3-day turns.
I have an exam on Monday afternoon, so I cannot put very much effort into AE over the weekend. Even if you agree now, do not expect my first turn before Wednesday.

I am interested but just read you did not want an experienced player after I posted this ...if you want the challenge of a more experienced player along with first time PBEM send email otherwise I understand

Just how experienced are you? I didn´t find your name in the AAR forum for the original WitP.
Mind you, I´ve had WitP for three years, so I´m not exactly a newbie, but I have never played PBEM, and so far I´ve played exactly one grand campaign all the way to the end against the AI.

I played a WITP campaign to the end.
I'd be looking for about what you're asking, and be more than willing to play as allies.
I can do one turn a day for the most part, but there will be times where I need more than a day to do a turn (as in, the first allied turn might take a few days to do - and every now and then there will be a "re-org" turn that takes longer than usual).
I'd be looking for someone that doesn't go all gamey (like sub invasions) - and if we do discover something that is a flaw or exploit, we can post it for others to know.
I think you'll want Dec7th Surprise ON, though, if you're playing Japs, unless you want me defending everything.
I don't care about historical first turn - so if you want that off because you want to do something else, that's cool.
Let me know if you don't have a game and we can fire one up. I'll probably start a "Combat Report" type aar

Surprise off was intentional - I thought the Allied player deserved some sort of compensation for agreeing to the better Jap starting position.
After that exam on Monday, summer break begins, so I´ll have time for a turn a day or so as well - but just like you said, occasionally a turn takes longer. I am already beginning to realize that the Japanese first turn is going to be a nightmare of organization.
As for gamey stuff... the one gamey thing I´m used to doing against the AI is evacuating small fragments of LCUs from doomed bases, to regrow into a full unit once the parent unit is dead. Sub Invasions... never tried that. The third thing that might be covered by house-rules is the Allies converting B-25/B-26/A-20 units to four engine bombers; I never did that much as Allies, but from what I´ve read many games have house rules against it, and I can see why.
I´m currently waiting for feedback from SubCaptain, though. Do you mind staying "in reserve" until then?

Okay, SubCaptain was faster - sorry, AcePylut. But who knows, once summer break starts and this game has settled in, maybe I´ll start a second one - though I´m not promising anything yet. In any case, thanks for your offer.
