Ive down loaded new drivers.....
still getting same low rez video {320 16 colors ,i think}
I tryed running sp2 and im getting the same prob.
ive not been able to find g-dome to re download .
Im thinking if i have the same prob with the other sp games on 3 diff puters its not a bad download prob.

Are you sure you are not getting the 640x480x256 color video that it actually is? It really isn't a high res video since .smk are high compression files.
It wasn't till Radgame Tools came out with Bink that they got a higher res output. Have you tried installing on another computer to see if it is just your computer or if you are just expecting better than a .smk file will give you?

i was talking about the video in the games spwaw & sp2. they look horrable.
It is very hard to see anything. Something is not right.
Im not sure how to use the bink & smacker yet.

I think im not explaneing my self right...
When i say video .. im refering to the grafics in the game not the video eye candy.
Ive up dated to DX 8.1
Ive uninstalled then reinstalled useing the files from edome.
Still the same prob.
Is there a way i can take a screen shot of the game & post it here so you can see what in talking about??????

Hypersnap is the program used by most to get screenshots of the game. There should still be a link to the authors webpage on Matrix's link page.
If it is the map, unit selection screen etc that are giving you problems are you perhaps running on a laptop or using a lcd screen on a desktop? Most modern lcd screens look terrible at 800x600x256 which is what the game runs in. I am still looking for an older laptop that is native 800x600 instead of 1024x768 to be able to play on the road.

I am useing a lcd screen with the default rez for my desktop.I have the game installed on 2 other puters with a 19 & 17 monitor & it looks bad on them also. i will try & post a screen shot.
