Playing the Aleutian Campaign (1000 mile War) I had a Transport TF moving Air Support LCU's from Adak to Kiska after capture and after a while the ships (APA's) kept showing the same amount of troops on board and each turn it stayed the same with the message - 175th USAAF Base Unit Sub Units Merging. Certainly never saw that in original WiTP. Not sure if this a bug or not.

Do you have a save file available for this?

Unfortunately the save was overwritten. I'll see if I can replicate it by having another go.

I had the same in Guadalcanal scenario - can't unload Baseforce radars (SCR-270) in Lunga (port was too small and my AP can't dock there).
In Tulagi my TF cann't unload radars too. But I separated APs with them and docked these ships. In the next turn radars unloaded successfully.

I think this is because radar is too large to unload from undocked ship through one turn.

APA's are amph ships.
Would've been better to have loaded the troops in combat mode in an Amph TF.

Radar and motorized support takes forever to unload at a small port.
By small, I mean less than a level 3 port.

This isn't a bug.
What you see are probably motorized support only offloading very few points each turn.
That's why you get the merging message.

Some naval support points will speed up the unloading too.
