Hi all,
I have an unusual issue when playing WITP AE, if I leave the game for more than a few minutes the game minimizes (and shows the desktop). When I go back into the game (by by clicking on it on the toolbar) the game opens back up but it often freezes and/or the map repeats over itself whilst scrolling-weird. I am not sure why it does this as when my brother plays WITP on his PC it does not happen. Is it a game setting or is it my PC? I checked things like power svaing and my display settings etc and nothing indicates why the game would do this? It does not happen to me when playing any other game?

If you're playing in full screen mode and there is something that kicks in after the computer has been idle for a while, the game will often minimize and sometimes you will have weird video artifacts when you bring it back up.  This was true of WitP too.

Is your screen saver set to start after the computer has been idle for a short time?  It may be indicative of something else running in the background on your computer, possibly even a virus.
