Erm...Were did CVE Nassau go?!

Played the Aleutians scenario, me as the allies.
While invading Attu my amph TF with CVE Nassau was torpedoed. The sole victim, the Nassau. So I decided I would send her back to DH for repairs.
Then I made a mistake, I managed to press "transfer ships to/from TF" instead of "create new TF". When I then pressed the Nassau she disappeared. She was not reported as sunk or anything, but Attu all of the sudden had a ship at port (the anchor showed up).
Bug or am I missing something and this is WAD?
