Just an article from USNI (U.S. Naval Institute) August 2009 Procedings Magazine. "Guadalcanal Rehearsals Gone Awry" What Went Wrong at Koro?
By William H. Bartsch
"Although the 7 August 1942 U.S. landings on Guadalcanal and nearby islands were successful, the rehearsals for them in the Fijis were "a complete bust." "

This is a good article about how bad things were only 7 days before we made our first landing of WWI in the Pacific.

I'm having an issue with loading ground units.
I have watched the computer vs computer to get prepared in order to see which Task Force make up, would be best suited for the task.

However.

When I click the "Select Units" screen, all that is displayed is air units and sometime nothing at all. Not a single ground unit. I have them correctly in the proper mode for loading, but nothing. I get the air unit when they are at the hex, and yes I have the ground units in Strategic Mode. I have even tried every mode. I even moved the ground units to another port. But still nothing.

Any suggestions or quick tutorial of the first four days to get me started. Any help would be appreciated. I have played the Coral Sea several time without a problem and even coming away with Decisive Victories.

Thank You

Good article.

Make sure the lcus you're loading are not from restricted commands. IIRC almost all lcus at start are restricted. The scenario designer (Nik) is an evil genius that way.
