Bugs???

Originally posted these in the main forum but never got any responses, so I'm trying here:

1. On turn 1 Hermes, w/814 Sq FAA in port @ Trincomalee. Turn 4, its no longer there and 814 is now based @ Columbo. Turn 5, find Hermes in off map hex near Cape Town with the notation it will arrive in 9 days. I don't ever remember moving it.

2. While loading 2nd Marine Def Btn onto Bellatrix @ SD, 273 Sq RAF keeps showing up on the list of loadable units when I click on the Adjust button, even though its @ Trincomalee.

3. Combat reports are sometimes disappearing from the Combat Reports box whenever I click on the right side of the box and try to pull down the bar. Don't have any problems if I use the scroll wheel on the mouse.

4. Since I'm still waiting on my hard copy of the manual, is it WAD to have to select a target for CAP every turn, i.e. every turn since the first I've had to select Singapore as the target for all the fighter squadrons there.

5. Pulled all the xAKs & xAKLs out of HK before it fell and set their home port as Manila. Half way there they turned around and started heading back towards HK, even though their home port and destination was still Manila.

5 - on this one, had similar problem with the Manilla xAKs.  The route I wanted for them was to the Jima's, N of Marcus and Wake and then to Pearl.  Their path was being reset due to wanting to avoid Air Threats.  So changed their Path from (I think it was) Normal to Direct and they resumed their plotted path.

That's what may be forcing your HK boys to turn away from their destination.

If you a group set to CAP, it will fly in it's own base hex.
However, it can be pulled away from the base if it needs to reinforce another hex being attacked that is within a range of 3 (IIRC) of the base.
To keep them there, set the max range to 0.

3. I got something similar. The message got so long with just blank space and the scrolling button is small.
