I'm a newbie on this forum.
I found online the download version (1.4) of ToS, and I enjoied it very much.
I would like to know something more about the newest version (Warring Sun): is it out? is it possible to buy it? and in which way?
Moreover, if I have some suggestions on the game, who should I send them to?
By the way? Does it exist a version of the game in italian language?
If not, are you interested to develop multi-language versions?
I mean if you are interested to make a translation of the ToS manual in other languages :)

The manual will be in multiple languages. Matrix Games is doing any translations beyond English and German so they would be better able to answer that question. It depends on many factors. However, the computer voice will only be done in English.

I have been told that TOSv1.4 is pretty popular in Italy by some players there and that the main newpaper in Rome did an article on TOS so I would not rule out an Italian translation. I'd really like to know if that is a true story. I'm just taking the word of some Italian fans. So don't get mad if thats incorrect.

Titans of Steel:Warring SUns is slated for Summer release.

Tnx

Mmm... Rosary... It seems to me that there's a ToS' mob-pilot with that name.
Anyway... Tnx for your gentle reply.
I found the link to the download version on a nice italian web-site full of freeware.
I think there are many people like me who found that link and who downloaded the game.
If you tell me exactly the nespaper's heading (and also the date of issue) maybe I could check your informations: it seems a little strange to me that an italian newspaper did an article about ToS (usually here newspapers talk about games only when they are violent), but it's possible.
By the way... I don't live in Rome, but in the north-east of Italy (nearest to Venice).
I was asking about the translation of the manual 'cause I like so much this game and if none is interested in doing that I will do that by myself and I will send it to Matrix-game (for free).
I was interested in contacting them for that reason.
And also to suggest something.... as a simple player :)
Moreover I would like to know how it's possible for me to buy the game when it will be on sale.
Only in internet with the credit-card or also with a bank credit transfer (which I think is more safe)?

Well...
Tnx in advance for your next reply ;)

My advice is now that you have TOSv1.4, to get the ICQ# of a few of the regulars here at the TOS forum. They'll put you through your Internet game TOs lessons. Don't worry, most of the gamers are very nice though don't believe Hetzer when he says he drools in his soup. That may be true but he'll also send plasma bolts through your Titans head at the worst possible moment.

I don't know anything about the roman connection. I'd have more information but unfortunately, when the Matrix Games forum went offline for 2 weeks, I lost all my matrix games email. So those emails are lost to me. But its not a big deal. TOS:Warring SUNS is still slated to be released Summer and it will be Excellent IMO.

Check here often to find out what the heck's going on.

Hi I'm Hetzer :)

If you'd like to play a game or two over the net to get up to speed or to ask questions when something that you don't understand happens I would be glad to play with you. All I ask is that you take pity on a poor feeble brain damaged old man and don't beat me up too badly :(

I can be reached on ICQ at 143948813 as Hetzer.

PS: (don't believe everything that Rosary says........in fact don't believe anything that Rosary says) (you'll live longer, promise)

:p

I don't think the final release of WS will have an italian manual.
We are still working on the english one. But feel free to translate the existing v1.4 one (there is already a finnish version) or wait till we contact you again when the WS manual is ready.

Check out the online shop at the Matrixgames for details on buying games.

Tnx a lot

So I will translate the existing manual (version 1.4) :)
When I will finish I would like to send a copy to Vicious Byte :) and I have no idea how to do that, so I hope one of you will help me to contact them.
And I will be very proud to translate in italian the manual of the final release. So feel free to contact me when you will need the italian translation for WS' manual :)

By the way: which is the reason I'm not able to have access to ToS website? (www.titansofsteel.de)
I don't have the manual copied on my PC.
May someone of you send an entire copy?

I'm just reporting what I was told about the Rome Newpaper. I requested a copy but never recieved it.

Rosary is in the tosv1.4 database as a pilot because I'm a member of Vicious Byte. It will probably also be a name in the Warring Suns data base.

The old website is closed, a new one might be up soon as www.viciousbyte.com

If you have v1.4 installed you should have the manual as well as the tosguide.
