Dixie's AE art stuff

Like a few other people out there, I like my ships in camo schemes. So far I've got most of the early war (up to Operation Ironclad) Commonwealth cruisers as well as a few CVs, DD, BB in the schemes that they were painted in at the time of their arrival in the Indian Ocean/Pacific.

They will be uploaded onto my website soon(ish) as work allows [:)]

Old everything. The purpose of camo is to make the ship hard to recognize. Works very well in small bmps.

Oh, uh, yeah . . . that would be the spot that says "My artwork here". I've really got to start paying attention.

It's a deal [:D] Well, it will be when I've done the last couple of RN cruisers for an early war 'set'.

Time for another small update on progress. The early war Royal Navy cruisers are all done and uploaded, except for the two E-Class cruisers which iirc were in plain grey anyway. As requested there's now a zip file containing all of the ships so far in one file. Or the individual ships can be downloaded on their own.

RN, RNZN & RAN Early War Cruisers.
Contains:
Australia CA
London CA
Kent CA
Norfolk CA
Exeter CA
Frobisher CA
Birmingham CL
'C' Class CL
'D' Class CL
Fiji CL
Perth CL
Southampton CL
Leander CL

Coming next, whatever I decide [:D] Probably the early war RN battleships 'cos there aren't that many of them [;)]

Dixie,
Any chance of doing a side & shil for HMS Hood the one I have from WAR PLAN ORANGE, just don't compare to the ship art for Admirals Edition.I know she was sunk before this Campaign started, but for personal reason's I would love to see her sail again in all her glory,I lost a family member on her when she sank.[:(]

Thanks again for the Hood artwork superb.[&o][&o][&o]

One more slight suggestion: please align the waterlines with the horizon line as the game now seems to be using a separate template for sip side art and if it's below the horizon the water imitation simply overlaps the hull - it looks like the ship is sitting very low in the water (essentially the game removes those pixel rows that fall under a preset waterline).

If it's not clear I can post screenshots.

Cheers and keep up the good job maestro!

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I'll sort out a set that sits higher in the water for you to check [:)]
