The Russians got the borderlands because Germany halted the war, that's it ?

Lol. "I den krig i Finland den Finnish soldat kampen skøn imod den soldat i den Soviet Forening og hurtigt den krig var slut.
"In the war in Finland the Finnish soldiers battled bravely against the soldiers of the Soviet Union and soon the war was over."

The error on the russian part here is in the setup.
If you gonna claim the borderlands in 39, you need one or two OOS units along the border that can leasurely flipp across it, and deny Germany the chance to concede. Forinstance in the way north of Karelia, and one even further north. But in those cases there is usually no Winterwar.
