Hi What to do with a LCU like this? Details:
1. Unit-113th USAAF Base Force @ L.A. 12/18/41. Pacific Flt.HQ.
2. Present unit values show:
Motorized support-26.
Support-8.

3. The TOE shows, in part:
Motorized support-60
Aviation support-60
Support-40.

Obviously, unit is not up to full strength. Questions:
1. How long does it take to get to 100%? Or, what is daily rate of
growth?
2. Is it better to ship unit overseas now, or wait 'till full strenth?
3. Do units gain strength better at PH or on the mainland? One would think on the mainland, but with games you never know.

As to speed of growth it depends:
look at the pools - are there enough of everything to fill it up?
the more bases with 20k supplies close by, the more squads could be gained per turn.

Are the present totals that you offered for the unit the TOTAL number of non-disrupted units + disrupted (in parentheses) or the overall sum total of both classifications?

If you have a large number of units in parentheses on CONUS, presumably they have access to supplies and will gradually change from disrupted to non-disrupted units of their own accord (with rest, organizational talents of leadership, etc.). I don't believe that they would draw significant TOE from the pools in this case.

If, however, your sum total is low, that suggests that you are going to have to draw the total from the pools.

Myself, I'd leave it on the West Coast until at least the TOE was filled. Easier access to support to build in LA than, say, Guadalcanal. Although LA is a malarial swamp in some ways, it is considered temperate for purposes of AE and easier to rebuild / rest / form here than some place either affected by cold weather penalties or malaria.

After that, I'd debate movement based upon its combat readiness (ratio of non-disrupted to disrupted). Remember too that there are disruption penalties associated with long hauls by ship, depending on the ship classification used for load.
