Air Unit OOS Problem.

I stupidly landed three Italian air units adjacent to Beirut. Lebanon-Syria is friendly, but, the supply is too low to fly those air units out of there!
They are stuck !
What can I do to get one more supply point in those hexes? If I can't figure a way to do that, those air units will be stuck there for the whole game !
Help !

Can you build a Mulberry Harbor on the coast? It will provide a turn worth of supply if you can. Just pick a coastal hex and build it. Pretty expensive though. Even if you can build on it would be cheaper to just disband the air units and rebuild them somewhere else.

Agreed, a convoy to the nearest owned port would do the trick, if it's close. I think there should be some kind of supply 'overlay' so these types of things don't happen, or at least you can conciously choose to take the risk.

Is it now possible to supply a besieged port if you succeed to ship a convoy there?
