This is getting frustrating, attached is the dxdiag.

Have had 4 CTD today, after the first 2, installed the hotfix. Then had another so rebooted and was actually able to get one turn in. Now just clicking around get another one.

It looks possible that your installation of DirectX may have become corrupted.  Try reinstalling DirectX and see what happens.

Downloaded latest DirectX and installed.  Then did myself proud with an hour long click-fest - no problemo!
