Can't install the game

Hey, I bought and downloaded the game a few days. When I tried to install it after inserting my cd key and choosing an installation directory, the installation program crashes. I tried redownloading the install, but it didn't resolve the issue. I sent a ticket on the support knowledgebase, but haven't heard back yet
I'm using windows xp and I'm not using any firewall software that should interfere with the installer. I'd be grateful for any help [:)]
