Replacing Garibaldi?

Just out of curiosity; if you bomb the italian HQ and manages to kill the leader, who will replace him? same for all minors where it is impossible to change leadership...

I believe now it will just pick a random replacement from the leader pool. This problem came up just recently. The proposed soluttion was to simply to never allow minor allied leaders to be killed. I don't know if that has been implemented or not.
