supply between allies

Confusion reigns supreme, in my current PBEM, in which France has refused Vichy, but has lost metropolitan France. Thus the supply center in Paris is lost, and MOST French units in North Africa (Tunisia) are subsisting on city supply (ie half-rations). However, one French air unit happens to be in Egypt, and it has full supply!

So, seeing that this lone French unit was getting full supply, apparently from the British, I decided to open up a British convoy, Southampton - Casablanca, hoping it would supply the French in Tunisia. No go. They're still on local city supply.

So can someone clarify what's going on? What are the circumstances in which allies can provide supply for each other?

Did you tried a convoy to Tunis?

No, to Casablanca, thinking that would be equivalent to any other port in French NA.

Last turn, I noticed that the supply of the French at Gabes was much higher again (I regret to say). The Tunis convoy may have helped.

Yes, confusion abated. It took two turns, I guess so the trucks could make it all the way to Tunis!

Good to know.

While we're sharing information with the enemy, Chocolino, let me share with you how the real Allies are going to crush the Italians and their would-be German allies, in Algeria ....
