Mortar Barrage

Been playing the game alot lately with the 4.507b patch, it looks like the mortar barrage explosion graphics have been increased to 3 similiar to that of a big art or naval barrage, but the effectiveness has not increased, a regular mortar has a graphic explosion value of 2
Checked the weapons file, is the "arty explosion" row for the mortar barrage? I am assuming it is.
just checking across the column, the kill rating for the arty explosion for pb/close/med/long are all given a rating of 8.
Thought when comparing those similiar values for a 81 mm mortar or granatwerfer, they are all 15, and for a 60mm mortar, they are all 10.
Am I looking at something wrong here, or should these values be similiar if the "arty explosion" is suppose to represent a mortar barrage?
